| Alyson Hanningan Says No Fucking Way to Appearing in Buffy Reboot. |

We asked her about those Buffy remake plans and she seems as perturbed by the whole thing as the show’s fans. When we asked her what she thought of Buffy without Joss she said, "Yeah, and that's a very big mistake in my opinion.” Whedon wrote both the 90s movie and ran the subsequent spin-off television show she was a part of. So it makes sense that Hannigan says, “I mean if Joss isn't involved, it's only the title."
And without Joss, there’s no way they’ll get her involved in it. Not even for a cameo. She says, "Not without Joss. Joss is the only reason that we would go back. I mean, it's just ridiculous to think of that TV show without Joss. That's just silly to me… And all the fans know that, too, so I don't know what they're thinking."
Hannigan’s reaction to remake echos that of former Giles Anthony Stewart Head, who, rather gleefully trashed the notion a few weeks ago here. Look it's no mystery why they’re doing this. Vampires are hot and let’s face it, Twilight is basically just a watered down Buffy ripoff so why not bring back the real deal and get rich.

| Anthony Head Speaks the Truth About the "Buffy" Movie |
|
|

Doing a Buffy movie without Whedon? “I wouldn’t want to see it, no,” Head admits. “The Kuzuis didn’t do a great job on the movie the first time around. It was Joss’ script at the age of 19, but they changed a lot of it. They said, ‘Look, we know best and we know how to make this movie,’ and it became quite schlocky and high camp.” Head recalls the time when he went to audition for the Buffy series because he loved Whedon’s pilot script so much, and his agent advised him to watch the movie to get the tone of the show before his screen test. “So I did and I went, ‘Oh, that’s not it at all.’ I went in and saw Joss and said, ‘I watched the movie last night!’ And he went, ‘Oh. Did ya?’ I just put it out of my mind. The bottom line is if a movie was ever to be made, it should be made with Joss Whedon, whether it’s a retrospective or not. But it would be madness to do it without him. [The Kazuis] have the rights to because they have the rights to the original movie, but it should be interesting to see. It may be a bit like watching a car wreck.

Anthony also spoke about the possibility in starring in a spin-off of 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' focusing entirely on his character, librarian Rupert Giles.
He added to BANG Showbiz: "It's long been rumoured. I talked to the writer Joss Whedon the other day because there were rumours on the internet there must be a 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' movie coming out after 'Twilight', but there isn't.
"But he said he would still like to do this thing with me so it may or may not happen. I would do anything to work with Joss again, he is a really lovely guy and a great creative mind." source |

So, I've just started a new job downtown and I have to be there at 6am. The only thing pissing me off is that I live on Ward St, just across the Blvd. So far I've just been walking to 5th to catch the bus. The walk isn't that bad, but I can't deal everyday. I'm thisclose to getting a bike which I probably will not be able to ride but before I do is there a bus schedule I'm missing. The Loop and the 67H don't run that early. |

This is not good:
This is not that bad:
This is correct:
| What American accent do you have? Your Result: The Midland "You have a Midland accent" is just another way of saying "you don't have an accent." You probably are from the Midland (Pennsylvania, southern Ohio, southern Indiana, southern Illinois, and Missouri) but then for all we know you could be from Florida or Charleston or one of those big southern cities like Atlanta or Dallas. You have a good voice for TV and radio. | | The West | | | The Inland North | | | The South | | | Boston | | | The Northeast | | | North Central | | | Philadelphia | | What American accent do you have? Quiz Created on GoToQuiz |
I wish this were true:
| What type of person do you attract? Your Result: You attract artsy people! Those free spirited artists with great imaginations find you interesting. They are usually interesting themselves, so its not a bad thing, but they CAN be a bit wifty and choose odd goals. If you like life to always be a bit 'different' from the norm, but not too extreme in any one direction, these are the people for you. If you seek logical decision making skills and good money management, you may want to change something in the way you appear. Artsy people are fun for adventure and exploring, so, have fun! This is bullshit I am:
| Are You A Buffy Fan? Your Result: Somewhat You missed many questions. Luckily you were able to answer some of them correctly. Go you! You did pretty well. Your right in the middle. You'd probably have a 50% chance of surviving in the world of Buffy. | | Yes | | | Yeah | | | Totally | | | No, Not Really | | | NOT AT ALL! | | | Are You A Buffy Fan? |
